The work itself

Four steps, repeated. That’s the whole job.

The company’s stated goal is to enroll 10–20 families a week. Everything below is built to make that repeatable.

  1. 01

A financed lead lands in your account

Direct mail, TV, and digital leads from the company's own program — no outside vendor, no cost up front, 60-day duplicate prevention, and a pre-approach letter already sent.

  2. 02

    You drive out and knock

Outside sales, in the prospect's home, mostly after 5:00 PM. Sixty to a hundred and twenty miles is a normal day.

  3. 03

You sit at the kitchen table

One page. A few health questions. No physical, no medical exam. Most people qualify even with health issues.

  4. 04

    You're paid that night

Up to 75% advanced on submission. Advances run Monday through Friday. Renewals follow for ten years on a starting contract.

What it pays

Commission, advanced the same day you submit.

There is no salary here and the firm doesn’t pretend otherwise. Income is entirely commission-based, advanced up to 75% on submission, with renewals paying for ten years on a starting contract and for life on a management contract.

The company average policy runs $45–$50 a month. Chargebacks apply if a client cancels in the first year — every carrier has them.

Full compensation detail

Top agents, MGAs, and directors are earning from $100,000 to $1,000,000 annually.

All income is commission based and varies by individual agent. These figures describe top producers and are not a promise, guarantee, or projection of what any agent will earn. Actual results depend on the hours worked, licensing, and individual performance. Chargebacks apply if a client cancels within the first year.

Same-day advances

Top commissions, up to 75% advances on submission of applications. Advance commissions are paid Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

No lead cost up front

Leads are financed based on production. Direct mail, inserts, cable TV, and digital — transferred to your Lincoln Heritage lead account with no up-front charge, repaid as a small percentage of new business income.

Exclusive, local leads

Company lead program with no outside lead vendor. Direct mail exclusive leads, Funeral Advantage TV leads, 60-day duplicate prevention, and a pre-approach letter with every lead.

Residual income

Starting contracts pay residual income for 10 years; management contracts pay lifetime renewals. Pay-thru begins the first month a client makes their second payment.

What you sell

One product, one market, all year.

Who runs it

A family firm, run by the family.

Ted Wilson, Sr. started the company in 1981. His son took a one-month deal in 1994 to get out of a truck payment, wrote his first applications that week, and never left.

Meet the leadership
I vividly remember the very last time I asked my father for a $150 loan to make a $315 payment. He made a deal with me — come work with him for one month.
